Career News

• Molly Gustafson '22, a pre-kindergarten teacher at Temple Elementary, created the nonprofit Temple Sunshine Closet LLC to help students and families overcome non-academic barriers, such as a lack of clothing, hygiene items, or other basic needs. Her initiative, praised by the Falconer School Board, brings community donations directly to children, so they can focus on learning. Through this independent organization, Gustafson shows how teachers can make a meaningful impact on students' well-being both inside and outside the classroom.
• Lisa Bannister '08聽was promoted to building tech. rep. and department head to electives for Lakeside High School in Ashtabula, OH.
• Scott Koskoski '00 was named sr. director of investments at Come Near, the national Christian nonprofit organization that manages the highly acclaimed "He Gets Us" campaign, originating with a 2023 Super Bowl commercial. Koskoski recently relocated to Dallas for this role and looks forward to connecting with fellow Lakers in the Lone Star State.
